Pick the occasion and say who the book is for. A friendly interviewer asks you a few questions out loud, then you add photos and say who's in them. The book is made in a few minutes, and you send it with a private link.

The interview takes about 5 to 8 minutes, and never more than 8. Adding photos takes a few more. The book is then ready in a few minutes, usually 1 to 3, so it can go out the same day.

A phone and a few quiet minutes to talk. Photos of them help too. There's no app to download and no password.

Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, farewells and promotions. For anything else, like Mother's Day or Eid, choose "Just because". Each occasion has its own questions.

You don't need to prepare. The interviewer asks one question at a time, and if you go blank it offers an easier one or moves on. At the end it reads back what will go in the book, and you can add or change anything.

Every book needs at least one photo, for its cover. If you don't have one, we offer a photo that fits the occasion. Three to eight photos is plenty, and a book can hold up to 12.

Start a book and tap "Invite family". You get one link to send to the family WhatsApp group, or anywhere else. Each person adds their voice from their own phone, you see who's done, and when you're ready you close it and we make one book from everyone.

No. They open the link on their phone, type their name, pick the language they'll speak and tick one box. No app and no account.

Whichever feels most natural: English, Spanish, Urdu or Hindi, and mixing is fine. Each person picks their own. Their words stay as they said them, with the translation underneath when it's not the book's language.

Yes. The message the family gets, and the link preview, don't say who the book is for or the occasion. If they're in the family chat, send the link to the others on their own.

No. You can do yours while the family records, or make the book from their voices alone.

Yes. Pick a "record by" date and everyone sees it on their page. The book is only made when you close it, so a late voice can still get in.

Yes. After they finish, they can change or remove what they added, until you make the book. Each person can also start their interview over once.

No. Every line comes from something someone in the family said or typed. Before you see the book, we check each line against what was said and take out anything that wasn't. If you ask us to add something nobody said, we won't, but you can type it in yourself.

Yes. AI helps us interview you, turn your words into text and lay out the pages. It never makes anything up: every line in the book comes from something your family said or wrote, and we check it. We never copy or fake anyone's voice.

Tap the words and type the right ones. The book only uses names that were said, and the ones you give when you say who's in each photo. Your own fixes stay exactly as you typed them.

Only people with its private link. The link is long and hard to guess, and search engines are told not to list it. You can turn it off any time from My books. Family members only see what they added themselves, until you send the book.

No. We use AI services from OpenAI and Anthropic to turn speech into text and write the book. They don't train their models on your family's words.

In My books, choose "Delete this book" and confirm. The photos, the recordings, everything that was said and every page are removed, and the link stops working. For a family book, everything the family added goes too. This can't be undone.

They're kept private and only show up inside your book. We keep a resized copy and delete the original file, which can include where the photo was taken. To place each photo in the book, Anthropic's AI reads a smaller copy, and it doesn't train on it.

Before they add anything, each person ticks one box: their voice and photos go into this book, and you and anyone you send it to can see them. They can change or remove what they added until you make the book.
